September Learning

We have been learning and doing SO much this month!  We have learned the letters, L, I, T, and O.  We have learned the popcorn words (sight words) I, like, see, am, the.  We are learning to sort objects into groups by size, color, shape, and number of objects (like number of button holes in a button).  We are also practicing counting to 100!  Help your child at home find the popcorn words they have learned and to find the letters in books and on signs.

We have also started centers!  This is a time where students play literacy and math games to help them learn.
